- Introducing P-DTR

Do you have a problem you feel you “just have to live with”? Do you feel you’ve tried everything possible to resolve it? Do you ever wish you could go to a circuit breaker in your body and reset it like other electrical systems? Believe it or not, you haven’t tried all your options. Maybe your shoulder or knee doesn’t move well and you want to be out of pain. Maybe your digestive tract is often upset or slow and you don’t want to feel hindered by it. There is a scientifically proven way to help re-set your body and most problems to experience potentially long-lasting improvements.
Introducing P-DTR: Proprioceptive-Deep Tendon Reflex. This neurological based therapy was developed, and continues to be researched and expanded, by Dr. José Palomar. As an Orthopedic Surgeon, he feels many problems do not require surgery; he has been dedicated to uncovering how to treat in non-prescriptive and non-invasive ways using scientific methods.
Our Central Nervous System (CNS) and brain act as the circuit breaker system for our body. The brain constantly receives information through many different bodily receptors. The brain, like computer software, is responsible for processing the information it receives. Based on that, it then sends messages back out to the body about how to respond. This ultimately results in motor (muscle) movement.
Unfortunately, some information sent to the brain is poor, which results in poor information going out from the brain to the body. With Proprioceptive-Deep Tendon Reflex, a person is assessed for faulty receptors related to a particular problem. Once the receptors are identified, a reflex is used as the tool to help the brain re-set the information, hence the name P-DTR.
P-DTR is comprehensive and cutting-edge. Unlike many other therapies, it doesn’t have a singular approach (muscle or tissue release, manual bone adjustment, etc). It’s a scientifically thorough and precise process for helping the CNS adapt to, and deal with, everything in a person’s environment. This supports optimal health.
What can you expect from P-DTR sessions? Clients are often assessed through manual muscle testing, movement, postural positions, and tissue restriction. Sessions are interactive; a client remains fully clothed and alert. Treatments can be performed lying, sitting, or standing. Intake of current and past physical and mental complaints, injuries, and traumas are critical, including elective and non-elective surgeries. Emotional, endocrine, and other concerns can all be part of the picture. All body systems are relevant when it comes to addressing the CNS. Every body and problem is unique. Some people can start to feel improvements from just one session, but several sessions can be necessary to address complex layers of problems.
You can flip a lot of switches on and off in your home, car, computer and your body. As for your body, your internal circuit breaker or software (CNS and brain) dictates that all those flips and switches can do as they should. P-DTR is your gateway to better whole body health.
